Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best
- Build a relationship with your child to provide learning that’s fun, engaging and rewarding
Brian M.
Instructional Aide
Brian is a senior at Mt. Hope High School; he is planning to graduate with the class of 2010 and then attend college where he plans to study business and cooking. Brian loves being a member of the Mt. Hope High School Marching Band where he plays the tuba. At Sylvan, Brian makes sure that all of our teachers have all the materials they need as they instruct our students. Between instruction times, Brian enjoys playing games with the students during transition time.

Deb's consistency and boisterous personality keep her students actively learning while they are at Sylvan. Deb's ability to to be clear and concise with her students gives them a sense of accomplishment. Deb builds her student relationships through positive praise and constant recognition of their achievements. Deb being an experienced mother and beach "goer" understand the balance of work and rest for her students!

Gary is quick to say hello and welcome all of his students. Gary specializes in Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Physics, Pre-Calc and more! He will simplify the approaches and give examples on how to work through the problems with ease. Gary is caring and understanding of his students needs and will go above and beyond to meet those needs. Students love working with Gary!
