"I'm pleased with the progress Brendan made in his reading after attending Sylvan Learning Center. According to his test scores, he improved from a 4.1 to 6.0 in just 72 hours of instruction. He's almost at grade level. Most important, though, is his increase in self-confidence. I've seen him start to take responsibility for more of his learning and have a desire to do better work and get better grades. That's a big improvement! Thank you, Sylvan teachers.

"I want to thank you all for the wonderful job you have done helping Samantha learn to read. She has enjoyed all the lessons and learned so much. When she came to us through the foster care system she knew very little about letters, numbers etc... At 7 years old she had only attended school since being placed in foster care 4 months earlier. All her school progress reports were below basic and her confidence level was very low. The changes in Samantha are wonderful. It has been a blessing for our family to be able to help Samantha reach grade level and give her the confidence she needs to succeed in school and life.

In the store, there are many prizes you can get with your tokens. Then, I like how teachers spend more time with you. "I just want to thank you for all your help and your continous efforts to see that my son succeded and gained the confidence that he needed. Through your guidence he achieved the grades and even went beyond that. My son came to you so far behind grade level and Sylvan brought him up to grade level and then some. Not only did you help him but your staff went a step beyond. I could call you at anytime and you would be there for me as well. I can remember the many times someone on staff would leave what they were doing to come to my son's school for meetings and make phone calls to help my son. It will be hard not to come by there as I have for so many years, because Nathan is now through with his program there.
