Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:
- Pinpoint your child’s learning needs using the Sylvan Skills Assessment®
- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best
- Build a relationship with your child to provide learning that’s fun, engaging and rewarding
Natalie McClune B.A. B.Ed.
Centre Director
Natalie received her B.A. and B.Ed. from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, with a major in Biology. Natalie has been with Sylvan for almost 9 years. She began as a Sylvan teacher at the Sylvan Learning Centre in Fredericton and eventually became their Director of Education. When the opportunity arose to operate her own Sylvan Learning Centre, and at the same time help students in the greater Saint John area, she jumped at it! Natalie takes great pride in knowing that her staff at Sylvan has, and continues, to help shape the minds of so many students.
After the whistle blows at Sylvan, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and working in her garden. She also has a great weakness for chocolate which costs her dearly during chocolate bar fundraising campaigns at the local schools!
Katherine Williams
Administrative Assistant
Katherine is probably the first person you’ll talk to when you call the Sylvan Learning Centre. She has over 25 years of administrative experience which really helps in keeping our centre running smoothly. Katherine has a genuine interest in helping every Sylvan family in any way she can.
Outside of her time at Sylvan, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and racing her neighbours around the lake in her pedal boat!
