Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals

- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best

Brian Honsberger
Assistant Center Director
Brian is a graduate of Ithaca College and the University of North Texas with two degrees in music. Brian recently moved from the Chicago area with his beautiful new bride and is pleased to be a member of the rapidly growing Surprise community.
Claudia Honsberger
Director of Education
Claudia has over 25 years of public school teaching experience and finds great joy in helping children succeed. She has spent the past nine years as Director of Education at the Sylvan Learning Center in Goodyear, Arizona and is excited about serving the families of the greater Surprise area.
Joe Honsberger
Executive Director
Joe served as a public educator in New York State for over 25 years and, along with Claudia, has operated the Sylvan Learning Center in Goodyear, Arizona for nine years. As Executive Director he oversees the operations of both the Goodyear and Surprise centers but remains actively involved in the educational aspects of the business.
