Our son Juan, now is helping me with my English"Our family came to the US in December of ’07. Our son Juan was enrolled in kindergarten in January of ’08. Juan was 5yrs old; he could not speak or write English, and once he went into 1st grade, his difficulties with the language became worse. We enrolled Juan in Sylvan in March of ’09. Since then his report cards have improved considerably in various areas. One of Juan's biggest achievements is the ability to read and understand what he is reading, which helped him finish first grade with good grades.
