Director of Education
Sylvan Learning Center is the nation's largest provider of supplemental educational learning. As Education Director, you will administer a positive instructional environment, manage and train teachers, and conference with student, parents and school teachers. Center Director

Center Instructor
Sylvan Learning Center, the nation’s leader in supplemental educational services is seeking instructors. The ideal candidate is a certified teacher who can multitask, establish a good rapport with students, and maintains an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching. Our program provides each student with an individualized program prescription and there is never more that a 3:1 student teacher ratio. Lesson plans and curriculum are managed and maintained by the Director of Education so teachers can do what they love - Teach. Students are instructed in a positive teaching environment on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings during the school year. We instruct weekday mornings and afternoons during the summer. We offer flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities.
Puller/Education Assistant/Diagnostician
The function of a Puller/Education Assistant is to prepare the materials and the education area in a Sylvan center for instruction. Diagnostician duties involve the ability to read and write effectively, administer placement assessments, and motivate students to do their best work. Requirements: Must be quick thinking and able to adapt to a changing environment; telephone skills are required; must display enthusiasm and positive approach toward learning; reasonably proficient with PC; organization skills a plus; develop rapport with students; work with students in all grades; responsible for cleaning, upkeep and maintaining overall Center appearance. Training is provided. Part-time position. Exceptional learning and teaching environment. Part-time hours: Morning, afternoon and evening hours available, Monday through Saturday.
