We are always looking for the best teachers.  If you are a credentialed teacher, and you want to experience a stress-free teaching experience, please contact us.  Our Director of Education carefully updates all of our students' lesson plans for you, and our wonderful TAs are on hand to make sure you have all the books and materials you need.  We provide paid training in the Sylvan way, that has been effective since 1979.  Come join our Sylvan family!

Center Instructor

Provide individualized teaching in a private school setting.
-Teach 3 one-on-ones at the same time utilizing Sylvan based programs.
-Responsible for learning the programs taught at Sylvan. (Paid training)
-Greet students and exhibit a personal interest in them as individuals.
-Evaluate progress for completed assignments and record notes, etc.
-Praise and encourage students with sincere enthusiasm. 
-Reward students with positive feedback and Sylvan Tokens!
-Maintain supervision and engage all students in constructive learning.

Bachelors degree required.
K-12 Teaching credential required.
Masters degree and teaching experience preferred.
