Amber Rogers
Center Director
Amber graduated from Western State College of Colorado with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies/Liberal Arts and an emphasis on Humanities. After teaching first 5th grade then Kindergarten in Arizona, Amber returned home to Illinois. She is a Certified State of Illinois elementary teacher and enjoys watching the lightbulb come on over a child's head as they learn something new. In her spare time, Amber enjoys reading, knitting, spending time with family, and playing with her two dogs, Maxwell and Jaxon.

Staff Profile
Our Buffalo Grove teaching staff combines a commitment to the success of our students with over a HUNDRED YEARS of combined Sylvan and classroom experience! Our tutors are all certified State of Illinois teachers. 100% of our staff have advanced degrees (Bachelors or higher) in their fields. Their experience includes reading, math, writing, and more, at elementary and secondary levels. Our students benefit from the teachers' ability to address their individual concerns with dedication and expertise.
