Lauren Reinheimer

Center Director

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown earning her B.A. in Secondary English.

Lauren began her career at Sylvan as an instructor, then becoming the Director of Education at the Monroeville Sylvan Learning Center until she was promoted to Center Director.

Lauren believes that teaching should be more than simply passing information from a textbook to a classroom of students.

"A teacher should motivate, inspire and care for every student. Each student is different in the way that they learn. I believe that it is a teacher's job to discover new ways of teaching and constantly adjust his/her methods of teaching to cater to each of the students' needs. That is why I love and believe in Sylvan so much. Our teachers and programs do just that!"

Lauren has been with Sylvan since 2007.

Deborah Adams

She also enjoys the conversations with parents, as we can give them tips to work with their child more effectively at home. Debbie has a B.S. in Special Education from Clarion University. She received her M.Ed. in Special Education from IUP. She also holds a Reading Specialist Certificate and Supervisory Certificate in Special Education.
