The other two would not offer immediate assistance and wanted to do an assessment before helping him. Sylvan allowed him to get homework help right away, and then, 3 days later, he took the assessment to determine what his weaknesses were. The following week, he started the "normal" tutoring schedule of homework help and remdial skills assistance. The 3 days before the assessment helped my son tremendously.
