Center Instructor
Sylvan Learning Center in Centerearch is looking for Certified Teachers who are interested in part-time teaching opportunities for day, evening and weekend instruction.
Must have high energy and have a passion for teaching. Sylvan provides an accredited curriculum & an individualized educational plan for each student so you can do what you love: Teach!
Specific subject areas include: all levels of Reading, Writing and Math (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry), Study Skills and SAT Preparation. Math instructors are especially encouraged to apply. Study Skills background is also advantageous.
State certification required.

Director of Education
Sylvan Learning Center is seeking an Assoc. Director of Education. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a passion for delivering high-quality educational services to children K-12. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills and work closely with a team that is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of each of our students. Sylvan provides a thorough training program for the right candidate. Teaching certification is required.
As a successful Assoc. Director of Education, you will champion the Sylvan developed curriculum, manage and ensure the quality of the education standards and teaching staff. You will communicate with parents to keep them informed on program progress and make recommendations to alter program prescriptions. You will administer Sylvan Skills Assessments, write and recommend goal-based programs for Sylvan Students as well as monitor programs for performance, establish relationships and communications with students’ teachers for insights on school progress, and create a positive learning environment during all phases of the instructional program.
In addition to State certification, candidates must have a minimum on a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills.
