SAT Prep Class Schedule

Sylvan's SAT* preparation course has proven to significantly increase test scores (160 points on average for the SAT) to help students get into the colleges and universities of their choice. Learn more about SAT test preparation from Sylvan.

Cost: $990 ( includes materials and practice tests)
Times: Sunday evenings 3PM- 7 PM 

March 4 - April 29 (no class 4/8)
Prep for May 5 test
+Register by February 9 to receive $125 off course cost

March 18 - May 20 (no class 4/8)
Prep for June 2 test
+Register by February 23 to receive $125 off course cost

College Prep Writing

We are proud to offer College Prep Writing, which is designed to help students preparing for college take their writing to the next level.

The course consists of 2 parts:

- Getting Into College: A 12-hour course that focuses on developing a college application essay and the writing section of the SAT.

- English 101: A 12-hour course that focuses on sharpening the writing, research, and analysis skills that are needed to succeed in college.

Each section can be done independently, or combined for a 24-hour course. Please call the center for details on scheduling and cost.

Middle States Recertification

We are proud to announce that we have earned our recertification through the Middle States Association. The award was announced by Dr. Thomas L. Seidenberger, Chair of the Commission on Elementary Schools and Superintendent of the East Penn School District (Emmaus, PA), following the Commissions’ October 2011 meetings. 
 
MSCESS accreditation signifies that Worcester Sylvan Learning has met the Middle States Standards for a quality supplemental education provider. These Standards reflect current research and best practices from throughout the education profession. During the term of accreditation the center will engage in a Commission-directed series of reports and/or site visits to maintain the vigor of the accreditation process.
  
The Middle States Association is the second-oldest regional accreditor in the United States and is comprised of the Commission on Elementary Schools, the Commission on Secondary Schools and the Commission on Higher Education. Accreditation by MSCESS is recognized around the world as an indication of trustworthiness, educational quality, and a commitment to on-going school improvement.
