Meet the Tutors

The tutors of Woburn Sylvan Learning Center are all Sylvan trained and certified so that they can best address your child’s academic needs. Our tutors are dedicated to working closely with you and your child in order to help your child reach his or her goals. We start by pinpointing your child’s strengths and areas for improvement through the Sylvan Skills Assessment®. From there, our Woburn staff develops a personalized learning plan for your child and offers unique insights about what methods will work best with your child. Ultimately, our tutors will build a relationship with your child and provide a fun, engaging, and rewarding learning environment. The Woburn Sylvan Learning Center staff consists of highly experienced and established educational professionals who take great pride in their work with students who want to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.

Rosina LeBlanc

Center Director

Rosina has been with Sylvan Learning since 2007. She has her B.S in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. Her experiences include working with hospitalized children, working as the manager of an optometrist's office and owning a small business in Hudson, NH. In her free time Rosina likes to travel, attend the theatre and taste new cuisene!

Ashley Moff

Director of Education

Ashley earned her B.S in Elementary Education from The Pennsylvania State University and completed her undergraduate student teaching in Bognor Regis, England. After returning state side, Ashley attended Brown University to obtain her M.A.T. in Elementary Education. Since graduating she has taught in 3 states, working with students in grades K-12. When she is not teaching, Ashley loves to read, spend time with her husband and family and travel as much as she can!!

Cindy is a graduate of Keene State College with her BS in Elementary Education. She also has completed her MS in Educational Technology from Eastern CT State.

Diane is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Education with Mathematics and Science. She is currently working towards her Masters Degree.

Lauren is a graduate of Wheelock College with a Bachelor's in Math and Science as well as Elementary Education. She is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Special Education.

Jessica earned her B.A. in Spanish and M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Simmons College. When she's not teaching or tutoring, Jessica enjoys dancing, singing, and going to musicals.

Bachelor's Degree in History and Educational Studies from Salem State University. I have an interest in secondary education. I have previously worked as an Administrative Assistant for one of Winchester Hospital's off-site Oncology centers. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and watching sports in my free time.

Anuja Deshpande

Anuja earned a post-graduate degree in Science from the University of Mumbai, India. She also has a diploma in Software programming. In the past Anuja has worked extensively in the corporate banking sector. Coaching in math and science has always been a hobby alongside her work. Currently Anuja enjoys being a part time tutor in math and a full time Mommy. ? She also enjoys oil painting and often tries her hand at it on a glass.

Elizabeth Miller

I teach history in a 7th grade classroom. Prior to general education I worked in Special Education and in a middle school learning center. Before becoming a teacher I tried my hand at Public Relations but realized my love was the classroom! I received my B.A in American Studies from Stonehill College in Easton, MA. I am nearing completion on my M.A. from Suffolk University and applying to doctoral programs for Educational Technology. In my spare time I like to cook, travel, and watch all the fantastic New England sports teams.

Julia Kelley

Julia is an elementary school teacher with a B.S. in Elementary Education from University of Vermont and a Masters in Education from Cambridge College. She has taught in Lexington, Concord, and Chelsea Public School Districts. Julia’s likes going to the beach in the summer as well as going snowboarding during the winter. She also likes cooking, country music, and watching scary movies.

Tami Toomey

Tami earned her B.S in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Special Education from American International College. Tami holds licensure in both Elementary and Special Education. Tami currently works as a Moderate Special Needs Teacher at Concord- Carlisle High School. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling and reading.
