Dear Sylvan....

I wanted to tell you this wonderful story. We tend to say we will do things and as time goes by we get busy and the recognition is forgotten.
My daughter went to your learning center when she was in 4th grade. She had a speech problem noticed in 2nd grade and she was embarrassed to read in class after being laughed at by classmates. Well, her self-esteem was affected along with her self-confidence to read. I decided she was worth the investment and we met with a wonderful woman at the Chelmsford Sylvan Learning Center. I loved the respect and hopefulness she offered. We continued with her tutoring for the summer. Because it was so long ago, I’m not sure exactly how many months we continued but it was worth every penny…literally!! Best thing I did as a mother.
We tend to forget to compliment what is appreciated. Your staff was wonderful and worked wonders with her. I loved your motivation reward theory and most of all your support and belief in someone who is struggling.
