The Peabody Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. Our tutoring programs are available both when school is in session, as well as during the summer with additional instructional hours. Student Store!
The Sylvan Student Store is a fun place to visit. New items are arriving weekly!
Students are awarded tokens for hard work and effort. Each student is given a checkbook to keep track of how many tokens they have earned. When a student is ready to purchase from the store, they write out a check and take their prize home!

Sylvan now offers High School Entrance Exam Prep
ISEE / SSAT/ HSPT prep program
This is a 30 hour program designed to help students prepare for any of the three most common private high school admittance tests. During the program, we will review common test preparation strategies, test taking concepts, and reading strategies while simultaneously reviewing vocabulary, grammar, math, and essay writing skills that students will need for these tests. Students will begin with a comprehensive assessment so that we can pinpoint skill areas requiring attention, so that we can provide students with a personalized and individualized program to meet their needs.
