She is totally impressed with all the knowledge he has and his teaching style. She definitely got a lot out of those two hours which hopefully we will see after today's final.

We have had a great experience at Sylvan. I must say I was a little skeptical at the beginning but very happy to say she has really grown this past year due to her time with your teachers. I don't know if she told anyone but she got an English award for 10th grade English - given only to one student in that grade. "As Phil was about to enter 11th grade, I asked him what he needed to happen for him to perform better in school. He answered without hesitation, "I need better study habits and organizational skills." The next day I saw an ad for a Sylvan course with that title (or close to it). I spoke to Phil and he enthusiastically asked if I would sign him up for it. I agreed. Taking the course freed me up from preaching (as much) about the importance of keeping priorities straight, doing the important things first and other things later, learning to estimate the time required to do projects and the other concerns that go into keeping up. He not only learned for the time being, but I can see that he has made the concepts that were taught part of his daily academic practice.

My experience with the Center Director, the Director of Education and the tutors were uniformly favorable. The were always ready to listen to any concerns, they responded quickly to any communication and were near-saintly in their willingness to provide a flexible schedule for Phil, even at the last minute. Phil and I are very glad that he had the opportunity to meet and work with the kind, caring and skilled people at the Sylvan Learning Center in Franklin. I don't know what more they could have done to make the experience more effective or enjoyable."
