The Easton Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. classroom. Our new Writing Academic Camp will help your child
learn strategic and creative writing techniques that build confidence
to succeed in all subjects. Plus, your child will walk away with a
portfolio to showcase his or her work!
Get in shape for Algebra! Let Sylvan be your child's personal trainer this summer. Our new Fit 4 Algebra Summer Camp will strengthen your child's confidence in math and get him or her in tip-top shape for Algebra!
Sylvan math camps provide your child with:
•The skills that make up the critical foundation for algebra
•Personal attention within a collaborative environment
•Lessons, interactive games and activities
This camp is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10:30-12:30.
Camps runs from July 9th-July 20th and also on August 13th- August 24th.

1. Let your child see you reading for pleasure.
2. Read to your child in your primary language. Listening skills come before reading skills.
3. Listen to your child read to you and or to relatives.
4. Reward your child for reading using praise, new books, a success chart, etc.
5. Develop your child's experiential background. This will allow her to relate reading activities to life!
6. Build vocabulary activities through games and practice! Try word bingo or a word game together!
