Sylvan's tutors teach skills that last a lifetime. We help students learn how to become self-motivated and achieve independence; above all else, we enable them to approach school — and life — with confidence.
We also maintain Sylvan tutoring special offers and seasonal promotions that make getting your child on the road to success easier.
Sylvan Scholarship Program
The Keene Sylvan has developed a scholarship program to benefit financially challenged students. We regularly hold silent auctions for handmade and donated items, the proceeds of which are added to the fund. We are gathering funds for 6 scholarships for 36 hours of Sylvan tutor each. The fund is designed to pay for 1/3 of the cost of 36 hours of a program. The center will provide 1/3 and the student and their family pay the remaining third and the assessment and registration fees. The scholarships will be awarded based on need. Please contact the Center for more details or an application. We're still a long way away from our goal, so we urge the community to help us help a needy student.
Subject Seminars
Keene Sylvan is now offering periodic Seminars in Algebra, Study Skills, Basic Math, and College Prep Writing! Seminars are limited to 10 students and are designed to teach the most frequently misunderstood skills from each program. Contact us for more information and dates for specific seminars!
