The Portsmouth Sylvan Learning Center helps students learn how to become self-motivated, independent, and most importantly approach school, as well as life, with confidence. Our tutoring programs are available both when school is in session, as well as during the summer with additional instructional hours. We are constantly looking for new ways for Portsmouth Sylvan to better help students achieve success. Portsmouth Sylvan Student Success is Measurable
Catch Up! Keep Up! Get Ahead!
8 out of 10 Sylvan students increase by one full grade equivalent after the first 36 hours of instruction in reading or math based on the results of the Sylvan Skills Assessment. If your student does not improve at least one full grade level equivalent, Sylvan will provide additional instruction to your student. Call the center for further details.
Sylvan SAT Prep Seminar Schedules
Our SAT Prep Seminar is our most popular SAT Prep option. A typical student who attends all classes and completes their homework will see an average of 150 points added to their overall score.
