Linda Parrett Langan
Center Director
Linda holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and an M.S. in Elementary Education from Southern Connecticut State University. She is an education consultant and advocate, dedicating her career to assisting families in recognizing and solving children's specific educational needs. She has volunteered in her community as PTO president and was a member of the Wallingford Board of Education. Linda resides in Wallingford with her husband and two daughters.
Melissa Coviello
Director of Education
Melissa holds a B.S. degree in Education with a concentration in English from Central Connecticut State University. Before coming to Sylan, Melissa enjoyed working with students and their families as a third grade teacher. Here at Sylvan, Melissa oversees all aspects of the center's educational operations. She closely monitors every student's individual educational plan and works with their teachers and families to ensure academic success.
Kelly Nichols
Assistant Director of Education
Kelly holds a B.A. degree in English from James Madison University. After college, she enjoyed two years teaching dance and gymnastics to elementary-age students. She then completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing from the New School in New York City. Kelly is CT certified in Secondary Education. At Sylvan, Kelly works with the Director of Education to oversee student tutoring plans and monitor students' progress to achieve academic and personal success.

Jamie has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Elmira College in NY. She is certified to teach grades 1-6 and Middle School English. Jamie taught 4th and 5th grade in Chicago, IL, before moving back to CT.

Melissa has a B.S. and M.S. in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. She is certified in CT for K through 12. Melissa has been teaching for four years.
