SPEED READ to Success in High School or College
Our next Speed Reading classes will be offered this summer the weeks of July 11th and July 25th Monday to Thursday 12:30 to 3:00. In just four sessions, we can dramatically increase your reading speed while enhancing comprehension. Students faced with the increased reading load of high school or college find this course useful. Parents are welcome to take the course as well. Our tuition of $295 compares favorably with competitors who charge more tuition for class sizes up to 3 times ours. Drop-in Enrichment Programs
Looking to stimulate your child after camp or the pool? Come to Sylvan Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 or 5:30 to 7:00 or Saturdays 12:30 to 2:00 for a fun program in math and language arts skills. The small group setting ensures both enjoyment and personal attention as we complete projects designed to improve reading and writing fluency and age-appropriate basic math skills such as math facts, fractions, and problem solving. Book weekday sessions by noon each day for $35.00 per session or book a three sesion week for $85.00 or a four session month for $115. Book Saturday sessions by noon Friday. Study Skills BOOT CAMP
Our popular small group version of our Study Skills program is back. During August we teach: Listening and Note-Taking, Test-Taking and Study Strategies in a fun and motivating setting with no more than four students per class. There will be separate groups for grades 5 to 7 and grades 8 to 12. Offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. August 9th to August 25th. Return for two Saturdays in September to perfect your Time Management and Organziation Skills. Tuition $695.00 for the full program taught in a small group. Need flexibility in your scheduling? Math Enrichment Program
Are you tired of nagging your child to complete a stack of worksheets each week? Try our enrichment math program which includes one hour per week of real instruction from a certified teacher in our fun and motivating learning center coupled with an award winning workbook or 24/7 access to SylvanMathPrep.com for home practice and reinforcement.
