Brittany Ruggiero

Center Director

As Center Director, Brittany carefully balances all elements of center operations to ensure that our students receive the highest quality instruction and our parents/guardians receive timely communication regarding their students' Sylvan experience. Brittany is a graduate of The University of Scranton with her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. She has had several years experience working in the field of education and is a certified teacher, similar to the teachers within our center. Her work with Sylvan began years ago as a teacher and since then she has held various positions within the company. She loves working at Sylvan and helping to change people’s lives. When she is not at the center, she loves spending time with her friends and family.

Lisa Hubright

Director of Education

As Director of Education, Lisa is responsible for your child's total Sylvan educational experience. From the initial assessment through the completion of your child's program, Lisa monitors every aspect to ensure that your child's learning opportunities are maximized. Lisa graduated from Cedar Crest College with a degree in Education. Lisa has had experience teaching High School English, History and Political Science. She enjoys reading and riding motorcycles.

Catharine Mollis

Instructor

Catharine is a graduate of Arizona State University and Rider University, with a degree in Psychology. In addition, Catharine is a certified teacher. Catharine has worked with Sylvan as a teacher for quite some time and has had extensive education experience. Currently, she teaches a 5th grade includion classroom. Catharine loves being with friends, reading, and swimming in her free time.

Melissa McAnlis

Instructor

Melissa is a graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics. Prior to Sylvan, Melissa taught 7th and 8th grade basic skills. Currently, she teaches Algebra to 8th grade students. Melissa loves doing jugsaw puzzles, crocheting, playing video games and reading in her spare time.

Jillian Conti

Instructor

Jillian is a graduate of Rider University with a degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. She has been teaching most recently as a a camp counselor at Princeton Family YMCA each summer since 2008. She is also a substitute teacher in the Hamilton, Lawrence, and Robbinsville school districts. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys walking her dog, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.

Shawn Osif

Instructor

Shawn is a recent graduate of the University of Scranton, where she obtained her MS Ed in Educational Administration. Prior to attending the University of Scranton, she attended William Patterson University and Rutgers University with degrees in Health Education and Business Administration. Her educational experience is extensive and ranges from teaching middle school science and math to being a Grade 10 principal. In Shawn's spare time, she enjoys reading and taking classes to further her education.

Rosalie Serdula

Instructor

Rosalie attended Kutztown University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree. She has been with Sylvan for quite some time and brings extensive educational experience to the team. Rosalie has spend many years teaching K-12 students in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, travel, jewelry making, crafts, and crossword puzzles.

Lisa Britt

Instructor

Lisa is a graduate of Rowan University with a degree in Elementary Education and English. Prior to Sylvan, Lisa taught math concepts and literacy skills to struggling students. In addition to working at Sylvan, Lisa is a substitute teacher in Burlington County school districts. Lisa loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys playing card and board games with her family!
