Sylvan Learning Receives National Award for Territory Excellence
The Capital Region Sylvan Learning Centers receive the Sylvan National Gold Award. This award recognizes centers whose educational services, staff and facilities exceed Sylvan’s national standards for service and quality. Robin Duger, National Franchise Growth Consultant, recognized the Capital Region Sylvan staff while visiting the Albany location. Duger said, "Families can be assured of a top notch educational experience when attending the Capital District Sylvan centers. These centers consistently demonstrate Sylvan’s highest standards in the delivery of educational programs.”
Sylvan Learning has approximately 900 centers located throughout North America and is the nation’s leading provider of in-center and live, online tutoring for students of all ages, grades and skill levels. Sylvan’s certified teachers provide instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, study skills, SAT®/ACT Prep and adult test-prep. Sylvan’s curriculum is based on State and National Standards and corresponds to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Council of Teachers of English standards.
