Sylvan Math Essentials

Sylvan Math Essentials helps children at various skill levels improve their math skills. Students are given the Sylvan Skills Assessment to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses in areas such as numeration, fractions, multiplication and problem solving. An individualized program for each student is designed based upon this skills assessment. Students learn the basics of mathematical computation as well as critical thinking skills such as problem solving, estimation and logic. Students master a new skill before advancing to the next level, ensuring the retention of information long after it is learned.
