Kids Can Cook Event a Success!
Sylvan Learning, Price Chopper and Fayette Free Library sponsored a Kids can Cook event for ages 3-13. We had a blast!
OCCRA Blue Ribbon Recycler
The East Syracuse Sylvan Learning Center received the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Center (OCCRA) Blue Ribbon Recycler Certification. This certification is awarded to businesses who meet certain standards in the workplace in the area of being "green". We are now one of 43 local business who have been awarded the Blue Ribbon. With the development of our Company Recycling Policy and the introduction of higher standards of recycling we were able to receive this award. The items listed on the requirements are simple ways to improve our business, cut our costs, and ultimately help save the earth. We are proud to live in one of the top counties in the entire country for recycling.
