Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Elizabeth Babbin

Director

Elizabeth is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a B.A. cum laude in History. She also holds a Master's in Education from Kutztown University and is a certified Reading Specialist. Elizabeth joined Sylvan in 2002. She primarily oversees the programs of our middle and high school students, but can answer any questions you might have about helping your child succeed in school.

Douglas Babbin

Director

Doug is a graduate of American University with a B.S. in Economics. Doug has been with Sylvan since 2002. He is usually the first point of contact our families have with Sylvan; he looks forward to talking with you about your child's situation in school. Doug and Elizabeth look forward to helping you and your child reach your goals!

Melanie Roetting

Director of Education

Melanie has been guiding students and teachers at Sylvan since 2003. Her bachelor's degree in education from Kutztown University and years of experience in the classroom and as a preschool director give her vast experience with younger students. She is tirelessly focused on giving every student in her care the best instruction and curriculum possible, and looks forward to meeting your child!
