Timber Ridge Camp Partnership

In 1955, Fred and Evelyn Greenberg started Timber Ridge Camp in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains of West Virginia (90 miles from D.C.). Their vision, was to provide a place where children from around the country and world could have new, exciting and unique experiences in a safe and caring environment. With over 50 successful summers under the same family ownership, many camps have emulated our programming and look towards Timber Ridge as the leader in the industry.

We are known for our extensive selection of quality and diverse activities taught in an enthusiastic, fun-filled environment. Our experienced instructors and coaches are trained to teach campers of all ability levels. Whether a camper is a beginner or an expert, every camper feels like a pro! With 10 tennis courts, multiple batting cages, an indoor professional hardwood basketball court, beach volleyball courts and professionally lit baseball, softball, soccer and our famous football fields, and now featuring a new Airsoft course on site, there is truly something for everyone at Timber Ridge!

This FREE, fun, interactive 90 minute seminar delivers advice and pointers on what parents can do to help their children navigate the academic, social and emotional challenges they will face. A short video shows real life parents, teens and experts talking about what they experience and how they cope in these tumultuous times.
 

Looking for a Fundraiser event?

Needing money for prom, homecoming, special events, small businesses, or supplies?

Sylvan learning center offers a free practice SAT. We would be happy to come to your school/ location and provide your students/community the chance to take a real SAT. This will give them valuable insight into what to expect come test day. That knowledge alone can reduce anxiety.

So how can a Practice SAT be made into a fundraiser?

E-mail our center to request more information or to schedule a fundraiser.

• Together, we choose a day to come and deliver the practice SAT.
• (It can even be a Saturday, so as not to interrupt a school day.)
• Then, we choose an afternoon or evening to go over the results at the center with the students and families in a group setting.
• You do all the marketing and collecting of data.
• We come on the selected day and deliver the practice SAT.
