Administrative/Teacher Assistant
Are you a college student preparing to become a clasroom teacher? Sylvan has part-time teaching assistant and assessing positions available. We offer flexible hours and scheduling so our center requirements can fit around your own class schedule. You will be involved in preparing lessons and materials, assisting with instruction and supporting Sylvan's staff. Email or call (832-1000) to ask about these opportunities.
Center Instructor
At Sylvan, you’ll be doing what you want to do with your teaching career - helping children reach their full potential.
We offer paid training with flexible teaching hours and scheduling so our teaching day fits around the regular school day. Many of our instructors teach in a regular classroom each day and tutor at Sylvan in the late afternoon.
Our instructors teach. They don't meet with parents or prepare lessons or develop a child's curriculum. These duties are handled by the center’s full-time support staff.
Sylvan requires its teachers to hold state licensure.
