College Admissions Night
Sylvan will host it's next college information program for parents this fall (tentatively set for October 27). The FREE program will include presentations by high school guidance counselors and college admissions counselors from schools like JMU and Virginia Tech. Topics include:
- Setting the right academic course in high school.
- Determining college choices and understanding the application process.
- Finding SAT/ACT Success: Strategies that work, prep courses and interpreting scores.
- Financial Aid / Paying for college: What you need to know.
The program is geared for parents of 9th, 10th and 11th graders as you chart the course for a successful transition to college. Call 832-1000 for more information.
