Study Skills

    Study Skills Seminar Programs

    Sylvan offers three-week-long seminars in each key area of study skills. The four content areas are: organization, time management, goal setting, study planning; note-taking, managing, presenting, information; reading, research & study techniques; test-taking strategies & anxiety management. The program is taught in a small-group seminar of six students or less, and meets twice a week for two-hour sessions. A student's study skills and study habits have a dramatic effect on school performance. Students must be prepared to test throughtout their academic careers.
