Thomas R Jennings
Executive Director
Tom is the Franchisee operating this Sylvan Learning Center. Tom's background includes a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 1987 and 10 years of sales and sales management experience. He has owned this center for 10 years and also has a center in Danville. Tom is married and has 4 children.
Bob Morgan
Center Director
A graduate of James Madison University, he taught for nearly 10 years at the college level and has more than 25 years of media, marketing and teaching experience. He was Center Director of the Roanoke Sylvan Learning Center for two years before assuming a similar position in Lynchburg. He and his wife, Kathi, have two grown daughters (one a teacher and one an actress) and two grandchildren.
Whitney Cranfill
Education Coordinator
Whitney has her Bachelor's Degree in Biology, with Teacher Licensure, from Longwood University. Whitney joined our staff in 2006 as an instructor and currently oversees our educational programs. She's licensed with the
Commonwealth of Virginia in Biology and Life Science. Whitney is married and has one child.
Sue Reinhardt
Assistant Center Director
Sue has been with the Lynchburg Sylvan for 7 years. At the center, her office serves as a meeting place for students and parents as they enter the center. She handles account management and loves to interact with the students. She has previous business experience in banking and also has four years of certified Childcare experience.
Ashley Baer
Instructional Assistant
Ashley is the center's Instruction Assistant and Test Adminstrator. Additionally, she is responsible for daily classroom materials preparation. A part-time student at Liberty University, she is pursuing a degree in education.
