Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:
Tom is the Franchise Owner of the Sylvan Learning Centers in Danville and Lynchburg. Tom is a graduate of the University of Virginia and was employed by various companies before he purchased his first Sylvan franchise in 1997. He and his wife have four children, who attend public schools in the Lynchburg area. Tom is Past-President of the Sylvan Franchise Owners Association and Past-President of the Lynchburg Morning Rotary Club.
Keisha is our resident educator providing the oversight and care needed to ensure quality education services. Keisha is also a mother of 4 children in Elementary, Middle and High schools in the Danville Public Schools. Keisha is active with the school's PTA/PTO organizations.
Lori provides the customer care for our teachers, students, and parents.
Lori is married to Greg, who is a Pastor at N. Main St. Baptist Church and she has three daughters who are ages 17 to 24.
Ginny has her Bacheolor's Degree in Elementary Education from Bryan College and is currently pursuing her Masters in Reading at Lynchburg College. After 6 years of teaching experience, Ginny joined the staff in Lynchburg as an Instructor, Director of Education, and Center Director. Currently, she serves as Regional Director to manage our off-site programs using Sylvan programs as well as Ace it! Tutoring. Ace it! allows us to bring reading and math instruction to area schools and community-based organizations off-site and away from our center.
Ginny provides support and oversight to our operations in both Danville and Lynchburg to ensure quality service for our students and families.
Ginny is married to Tim and they have a daughter named Caroline, who is 7 and in 2nd grade.
