Meet our First Spotlight Student-Jazmine! Congratulations to her!

I became a part of the Sylvan family in June of 2008. My daughter, Jazmine had struggled with math for several years. I contacted her teachers for advice and feedback, over the years, but was never able to get any answers or much support from our school system. Her father and I had purchased workbooks and downloaded material to help do what we could on our end. After hitting several dead-ends and having to re-take the End-of-Grade test twice, we decided we needed to seek help to get Jazmine where she needed to be.
We were skeptical about the cost of Sylvan at first, but once we met with Jessica Bailey and the Wilson center staff and saw first hand how committed they were about Jazmine’s needs, we realized immediately that we couldn’t afford to NOT do this. Jazmine has learned so much over the last seven months and has shown great improvements in her grades and personality. We have at long last gotten where we need to be academically and socially. As concerned parents, we finally get the feedback of Jazmine’s progress that we have longed for but not gotten from our school system. Jazmine had fallen through the cracks of the school system and Sylvan has filled-in those gaps and gotten her on the right path. Without Sylvan we would still be in the dark.
Jessica and Beverly at the Wilson center are wonderful and have made such a difference in our lives. The teachers are amazing and I hate to imagine where we would be without Sylvan. As dedicated parents, trying to get our child on the right path, there is no doubt that we made the right decision choosing Sylvan. Our experience with Sylvan has been priceless.
