Catie Robb

Director of Education

Mrs. Robb has a BS in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College. At Sylvan she teaches Beginning Reading, Academic Reading, Study Skills, and Academic Writing. In her spare time she loves to play with her puppy, Zoey, cook, fly fish, read, visit my family in Mississippi, and my husband's family in Alabama.

Kristin Olsen

Instructor

Mrs. Olsen has a M.Ed. in Learning Disabilities from the University of West Georgia. At Sylvan Mrs. Olsen teaches Beginning Reading, Academic Reading, Academic Writing, and Study Skills. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her 2 children and 3 dogs. She and her family attend Browns Bridge Community Church where she volunteers in a 3 year old classroom.

Andra Cruse

Instructor

Mrs. Cruse has a BS from Northwestern State University, an MD from the University of Southern Mississippi, and Ed. S from the University of Alabama. At Sylvan Mrs. Cruse teaches Math Essentials, Sylvan Advanced Math, Sylvan SAT Prep Math and Verbal Sections, and Academic Reading. In her spare time Mrs. Cruse enjoys hunting and fishing. She is the proud Math Team Coach and Fencing Coach at Lambert High School. She also teaches a College Algebra Class at Lanier Tech.

Mary Ann Halsema

Instructor

Mrs. Halsema received a BS in Mathematics Education from Georgia Southern University and a MS in Post-Secondary Education from Troy University. At Sylvan Mrs. Halsema teaches Math Essentials, Sylvan Advanced Math, Math Homework Support, and the Math portion of our SAT Prep Course. In her spare time Mrs. Halsema enjoys walking/running, watching movies, spending time with her family and sudoko puzzles.

Carol Howard

Instructor

Ms. Howard received a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and an MS degree in Special Education. At Sylvan, Ms. Howard teaches Beginning Reading, Academic Reading, Math Essentials, Academic Writing, and Advanced Reading. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing creative stories, playing with her cats and dog, babysitting for family and friends, going to the mountains, spending time with her Mom and Dad at the Nursing Home, going to the movies, listening to music, and taking pictures.
Ms. Howard has climbed stone Mountain and to the top of St. Simons Lighthouse!

Joanna Beaudine

Instructor and Test Administrator

Mrs. Beaudine graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Elementary Education. At Sylvan Mrs. Beaudine teaches Beginning Reading, Academic Reading, Math Essentials, Academic Writing, and Study Skills. In her spare time Mrs. Beaudine enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with her family. She and her family attend Creekside United Methodist Church.
