Designed to improve writing skills, the program teaches the process approach to writing paragraphs, letters, and essays, while stressing the fundamentals of capitalization, punctuation, sentence building, and editing.

Sylvan's Study Skills program is designed for all studetns who perform on grade level but need effective study techniques, organizational skills, time management skills, and test-taking strategies. The program includes reading and listening skills as well as outlining, note-taking, and test-taking strategies.

The Homework Help program was created for the student requiring monitoring and minimal assistance during homework time. Homework help provides the student a study environment and support system for maintaining success in school.

The Homework Support Program was designed for the student needing additional instruction and homework assistance in a particular subject, such as advanced maths like Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and other area including foreign language, literature, sciences (even social sciences), etc.
