Our Essay Contest Winners

Our Sylvan Learning Centers from Tallahassee, Port Richey, Valdosta and Albany sponsored an essay contest with the local schools. Students were asked to write an essay on the topic: "Why Should I Write when I can Text?" We had a fantastic time reading all of the entries and a very difficult time choosing the winners. There are definitely some very talented young writers out there!

We are very pleased to announce our top three winners. The third place winner is from our Albany Center - RaeKwon from Radium Springs Middle Magnet School of the Arts. The second place winner is from our Port Richey Center - Madyson from Schrader Elementary. And finally, our first place winner is from Tallahassee - Lauren from Deerlake Middle School. Congratulations to all of our winners and to all the aspiring your writers who entered. We look forward to reading your entries in our essay contest next school year.
