Jack Leitch
Center Operations
Jack has been with Sylvan for two years. He started as an administrative assistant for the Central Florida District and now assumes the role of Center Operations for the Winter Park and Melbourne Centers. While his background is in business management, he has a passion for education and never fails to form special bonds with each and every student.
Jane Leitch
Center Director
Before joining Sylvan as a franchisee, Jane served at Sylvan Learning's corporate headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland as President of the Early Learning Division. Prior to this, she was CEO of Discovery Toys, an educational toy company in Livermore, California and CEO of Dorling Kindersley Family Learning, an educational publisher in Orlando, Florida. Jane is a teacher by profession and taught high school in England prior to moving to the United States in 1999. She earned her Masters and Bachelors degrees in England in the areas of Education, Physical Education, English, and Marketing.
Joanie Doolan
Owner
Joanie has been with Sylvan over two years, purchasing the Winter Park Center in May of 2009. She completed her bachelor's degree in Illinois and her master's work in counseling at Webster University in Florida. She has a son in high school, a daughter in middle school and a poodle named Peanut Butter.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and community events.

Marci earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from UCF and loves to inspire children. When not working, Marci enjoys going to the beach, shopping and camping.

Carolyn earned a Master of Science in Education from Queens College. She has been a Sylvan tutor for over two years, enjoying Sylvan's mission and structure and supports her personal teaching approach.
Dara Molen
Upper Level Math Tutor & Reading Tutor
Dara graduated from UCF in 1990 with a B.S. in physics and she graduated again in 1993 with an M.S. in Math. She graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2008 with a degree in theology. She has been with Sylvan for over four years, teaching all subjects and truly enjoys it. She has a shepherd/chow mix named Bear and in her spare time she enjoys traveling and computer work.
Carroll Ward
Reading Tutor
Carroll earned a Master's Degree from NYU and enjoys working with young people. Her hobbies include writing and has recently publisher her first mystery novel!
David Cookerly
Math and Reading Tutor
David earned a Master's Degree in Education Leadership. He loves to teach kids! In his free time, he enjoys working out, sports and going to the beach.
