Successful CompletionThe time that my son, Jimmy, spent at Sylvan not only helped him to get to grade level but also did wonders for his self-esteem. He would shy away from answering questions in school and doing work activities because he felt that he was not smart enough to answer correctly but now he is more apt and quick to throw answers out when asked to participate in class and most of the time, if not all, he is right! He is also reading and although he just started back to school, his work has only been positive. All this could not have been possible without the help of Sylvan and their staff (teachers). Excellent StaffThe staff at our Sylvan is excellent. My daughter is progressing enough that, in her words, "school is a lot easier," which is exactly why we enrolled her. She now likes to read (it used to take her 20 minutes to read 5 or 6 pages now she reads 10-15 pages in that time)! Sylvan is the best thing in my opinion for any child struggling in school. Seeing a change in only four weeks!We have seen Josh's progress within a 4 week period. His attitude, his confidence, and his approach to school work have dramatically changed. We reviewed his grades for this fourth quarter and we can see his hard work. His GPA has gone up by 2 points. We greatly appreciate all that Sylvan has done. Josh says the teachers have been great.
