Part of a zoo's mission is education and she realized a love for teaching that likely had been there all along. In 2003, she left the zoo to teach. She taught in a traditional classroom for 3 years then began tutoring home-schooled children and started working at Sylvan. Now almost 5 years later, she is still at Sylvan. She has seen many children helped by Sylvan programs. One of the first questions she had when she moved back this fall was "Is there a Sylvan in Winter Haven?" And here she is!
