"When my daughter entered 1st grade it was apparent that she needed a little extra help to boost her confidence. Since she was born in the summer, she was younger than her entire class. I thought that introducing Sylvan to her along with school was going to be too much for her. She was immediately drawn to the individual time that she was given along with the encouragement and reward system for achieving. Since she started attending Sylvan her teachers have commented on how well she has improved in her daily studies and I have noticed how her confidence has risen to a higher level. "We have been very impressed with the Sylvan experience. Sylvan absolutely motivated Gabi to learn and challenge herself more and more. She has been developing great self-esteem. We could see a phenomenal success with our daughter. She was doing poorly in 3rd grade. We started the Sylvan program and she drastically improved. She was able to finish elementary school with straight A's and passed a preparatory school exam. Today, she is going into 7th grade with high honor grades.
We are very pleased with Sylvan. The staff at Sylvan listened to our needs and has always done their best to help Gabi become better and better. Every summer she asks to come back to Sylvan to "warm up" before school. We really recommend this fabulous program to all students."

"Sylvan has really helped Timothy. He has struggled with reading since first grade. He was retained in first grade and again in third, when he didn't pass the FCAT.
This fall, he was going into fifth grade. We decided to have him tested at Sylvan. He tested at mid first grade level. We enrolled him in late July, and now six months later, his comprehension is above his grade level and his overall reading is up!
He can now write 5 paragraph essays, before he could barely write one paragraph. He actually reads to himself for enjoyment, not just when he has to for school.
Going to Sylvan has greatly improved his reading and his self-confidence."
