Chris Fey
Director of Education / Prometric Test Center Supervisor
Chris has been with Sylvan Learning at Cedar Bluff since February of 1997. Chris supervises the curriculum for the students at our center which begins with the initial diagnostic assessment which helps him to create an individualized program for each student based on their unique needs. He speaks with parents every few weeks concerning their child's progress in the program. Chris also plays a major role in the organization and management of the center, scheduling students and staff, and helping to supervise staff development and training. Chris is an avid Detroit Red Wings fan, but will cheer for any team as long as he can watch a hockey game! In his free time he loves spending time with his family.
Molly Kale
Center Director
Molly has been with Sylvan as a Director since 2001. Molly guides new families through the assessment process and program benchmarks until program completion. She also contacts and visits schools and/or teachers of our students to ensure that every person involved with your child's education is on the same page. Molly also designs new programs for students, monitors their speed and success, and manages the student's journey through Sylvan. She loves working at Sylvan because of the positive and motivating atmosphere each and every day. According to Molly, "Seeing a student arrive at their 'Sylvan Moment', or when they realize they can do it and do it independently, is the greatest part about working at Sylvan!". In her free time, Molly enjoys singing, listening to music, playing cards and relaxing with friends and family.
Our Marvelous
Instructors
Our certified instructors serve as the kinetic extension of our administrative
staff. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are required! In addition, they
are trained on methods of encouragement, positive (never negative) reinforcement,
and Sylvan's proven techniques for teaching and motivating students.
