The best school year ever !!!

"Hi Robin and Bruce,

I want to let you both know how proud I am of Britt, and thank you for helping with her math. Brittany so far this year has made the merit roll twice, and here are her most recent grades I that I recieved on Feb 24th.

Launguge Arts - A
Math - B
Science - A
History - A
Choir - A+
Gym - B

Can you believe it!!! We no longer need to ask her to start her homework. Something else I realized, is that when she has to find answers in her books, she actually reads the questions on her work sheets and finds the correct answers in her reading material.

Last year in 6th grade there was, no way she could do it alone, and she constantly needed help.

Test scores are also good. We are going to parent/teacher conf... on March 3rd. Math has been pretty good for her this year and she seems to understand what she is learning with out much complication.

I have heard wonderful things about her from her Math teacher. Wow what a plus, This is the best school year ever, and I told Britt she can make the merit roll two more times if she continues working hard.

ACT Excellence

"Bruce and Robin:

Thank you both for your excellence at Sylvan. Our daughters attended your ACT prep course last winter and received excellent results. Our senior daughter scored a 25 prior to the prep class. On the test immediately following the course last February, she improved her score to a 29. This helped her to receive a $2000 bump in scholarship monies from MVNU.

Our other daughter that was a junior at the time, went from a score of 24 (as a sophomore) to a 31 on the test last February. She took the ACT again this past fall after reviewing her materials, and scored a 34. She has received a lot of attention from various universities. She is going to 2 different schools in February of this year to compete for full ride scholarships.

We appreciate the work you have done with our daughters in helping them excel. We have recommended your services to others based on our success.

$10,000 scholarship earned

"Thanks for the response. Amanda did great on her second try. She got a 21 on the first try before your class and a 25 on the second. She qualified for $10,000 off per year at Malone based on her test score. She needed a 24. Thanks for your help. It was a good investment.



My son is a Junior and took the test in Oct. He scored a 26 on the first try and we thought it might be worth him taking the course to see if he can improve to the 30’s as a lot of the colleges offer funds for high test scores.

IEP no longer needed

"Hi guys.

Just wanted to give you some great news. We had an IEP meeting this morning at the school, and Michael no longer needs IEP classes. They said with his grades, motor skills, and everything else, he no longer needs it. They said this was the best IEP they have had. Thought you might like to know.
