Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Janet Cecconi
Center Director
Janet Cecconi has been the Center Director since 1984 when the Belden Village Sylvan opened. Janet graduated from Kent State University with degrees in Elementary and Special Education. She also earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Ashland University.
Karen Willis
Director of Education
Karen Willis has been the Director of Education since 1984 when the Belden Village Sylvan opened. Karen earned her education degree at Ohio State University.
Terry Iddings
Teacher
Terry graduated from Mount Union College. He earned a masters of education degree from Youngstown State University. Terry currently teaches 4th and 5th grade science and k-6 general music. Recently, Terry won an eduaction grant from First Energy to help with the teaching of electricity in 5th grade science classes. He has been named "outstanding educator" by the Industrial Information Institute For Education Inc.
Matt Newman
Teacher
Matt graduated from Ohio State University. Matt is furthering his education at Ashland University.
Debbie Sinopoli
Teacher
Debbie graduated from UCLA and earned her masters in special education from California Lutheran College. She worked for Canton City Schools for twenty years where she taught special education, 4th grade and Title One. She enjoys traveling, reading, tennis, and spending time with her family.
Kristin Paumier
Teacher
Kristin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Walsh University. She has a degree in middle childhood education and reading intervention. She currently works as a substitute for several school districts in Stark County.
