We offer both a standard and premium ACT prep course. The premium includes reading techniques and strategies to improve reading rate and comprehension. These skills help students cover more material in less time so they are better prepared for reading section of the ACT as well as the increased workload in college.

Accelerated Reading Program

The Sylvan Learning Center offers an advanced reading course where students learn techniques and strategies to improve their reading rate and comprehension. These skills help students cover more course work in less time, so they are better prepared for the increased workload in high school and college. Book Adventure. Read ... Click ... Win

Book Adventure is the free, online reading incentive program that makes reading fun for students in grades K-8. Children use Book Adventure to create personalized book lists from over 7,000 titles, read the books offline, take online quizzes on the books, and earn prizes for reading. Based in Baltimore, MD, the non-profit Book Adventure initiative was created by the Sylvan Learning Foundation.

BookAdventure.com is a free online reading program that uses technology and incentives to motivate children to read. Book Adventure has more than 4 million registered users, with more than 131,000 classrooms using the site as a reading source. Children have taken more than 14.6 million quizzes since the site was established in April 1999.
