Center Director

Greg is a returning local who graduated from Franklin Community High School in 1983 and Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1987 (BS-Business) and 1995 (MBA). After school Greg spent several years working as a financial analyst for multi-national companies in Indiana, Ohio, Canada, and Japan. Happily back on native soil with his wife, he an Tamayo both look forward to helping young students in Indiana build the skills and confidence they need for their future.

Karin Findley

Wonderful Teacher

Karin grew up in Austria, Germany and England. She received her BA in Liberal Arts from St. Johns college in Maryland and taught English and served as school librarian in Austin, TX after college. She moved to Bloomington to pursue graduate studies in History of Science and received a MA from I.U.
In her spare time she likes to read, run and play with her little dog, Carlos.

Leah graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education. She enjoys working with students of all ages, but soon hopes to teach in the Chicago area in the future.

Melissa Osborne

Melissa is originally from Fredrick, Maryland and moved here with her fiance, Steve in July 2005. She graduated with a B.S in Liberal Studies from Frosthura State University in Maryland and with a Master of Arts in teaching in 2002. She worked as a pre-Kindergarten teacher for 3 years in Hagerstown, MD.
In her spare time she enjoys running, reading and visiting friends and family.

Laura Lucas graduated with a degree in elementary education. Laura lives in Bloomington with her family, including, son Parker and new baby Hadley. In addition to working at Sylvan, Laura is a substitute teacher in Monroe County Schools. In her spare time Laura enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Wonderful Teacher

Allison Horn graduated from the University of St. Francis. She has a degree in Elementary Education and Mild Intervention. She is currently a resource teacher at St. Charles for grades 2-5. She also coaches volleyball at Bloomington South High School and for Pantera Volleyball Club.
