Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Leslie Geiser
Executive Director
Leslie has been with Sylvan Learning Centers since 1985 and is currently the Executive Director for the Ann Arbor and Novi Sylvan Learning Centers.
Leslie holds a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in reading from Eastern Michigan University.
Leslie lives in Ann Arbor and has two grown children. She likes to spend time with her husband Eric and their four dogs.

Patricia Childs
Senior Director of Education
Patricia has worked for Sylvan Learning Center since 1995. She began as a part-time instructor and was promoted to Director of Education in 1996. Her degree is from Western Michigan University in Speech Pathology and Audiology and Elementary Education. Patricia has taught first and second grades and K-8 art.
Elizabeth Zimmer
Director of Education
Elizabeth was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She participates in many sports related activities. She is especially elated when cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. She also enjoys spending time with her many nieces and nephews. Her love for children and commitment to giving them a solid education led her to Sylvan. She has been with Sylvan since 1995. Liz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Math Major and Social Science Minor from Eastern Michigan University. She enjoys helping students develop their skills and is rewarded each day in knowing that she is teaching them to love to learn.
