Unbelievable Success!

"Dear Sylvan,
My son Jacob came to Sylvan as a child struggling in math. He had a bad attitude toward math and his homework. He felt very frustrated and overwhelmed. He also began to suffer a feeling of low self esteem. He wondered why he couldn't learn at the same successful rate he enjoyed in his other subjects.
Your Center saw him for only 2 summers, and the difference it has made is life changing! He looks forward to math class now. He enjoys homework. But the most surprising thing is what happened this week...His teacher called and asked if the school could move him up a grade to an accelerated math group! Amazing!

Your involvment with the students is unbelievable. Every child knows the teachers and Directors and feels comfortable with them. Your help and individual attention to every detail of my son's academic career has helped him immeasurably! He is striving to reach levels he never knew before. Kristin's Story

"I want to thank all of you for everything you have done for my daughter. When she first came to you she was struggling in Math. She just wasn't able to apply the concepts to her assignments.
After you did the initial assessment, you were able to pinpoint what she was lacking. Your program plan for her revealed that she didn't know some of the foundational skills she needed to build on the advancing math.
You worked with her and you were very flexible with her schedule. Even when Kristin wanted to give up, you continued to encourage her. She worked hard and it has paid off!
Kristin began her school year with a C- in math. She was struggling and frustrated. I am happy to report that Kristin received an A on her midterm, and overall she received an A in math!!
I am grateful for everything you have done for her. She now has the foundation to continue to build on. She is more confident in herself.
