ACT Prep Seminars for 2009-2010
Our very popular ACT Prep seminars are scheduled for the 2009-2010 school year. Seminars are held on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Each seminar includes two practice tests and etools to make sure that your student gets the most from their class! Call 616. 396.1161 today to schedule or to sign up for a practice ACT test.
ACT Test Date: October 24, 2009
Seminar begins September 5th and continues every Saturday through October 17th.
ACT Test Date: December 12, 2009
Seminar begins October 31 and continues every Saturday through December 5th.
ACT Test Date: February 6, 2010
Seminar begins December 19th and continues every Saturday through January 30th.
ACT Test Date: MME 2010
Seminar begins February 6th and continues every Saturday through March 6th.
ACT Test Date: June 12, 2010
Seminar begins April 24th and continues every Saturday through June 3rd.

Advanced Reading Skills
Do you need to read faster and increase your comprehension in order to effectively get through lengthy tests or course material? We can help in as little as 3 weeks!
Our 12 hour course is designed to teach adults and eligible high school students how to read faster and more efficiently. In a relaxed, fun seminar setting our certified instructor will teach you how to change your reading habits through eye muscle movement and word association to increase your reading potential. The cost of the program is $295.00. Students must be reading on their grade level starting at 9th grade. Here are the following times we are holding these seminars:
Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-7:30 p.m.
October 5th - October 21st (perfect to prepare for the October 24th ACT)
November 23rd - December 9th (perfect to prepare for the December 12th ACT)
January 18th - February 3rd (perfect to prepare for the February 6th ACT)
February 15 - March 3rd (perfect to prepare for the March MME/ACT)
March 22 - April 7th (perfect to prepare for the April 10th ACT)
May 10th - May 26th (perfect for the June 12th ACT)

Introducing Sylvan's Basic Skills Review!
The Basic Skills Review program helps students and adult learners develop competency in core reading and math skills. This prgram may be especially beneficial for adults who are preparing to take the General Educational Development (GED) test, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) or an assessment for a new vocation, such as policemen, firmen, postal workers or other service organization.
