Sylvan ACT Prep Success

Our first introduction to Sylvan was in the spring of 2007. Our son had taken his first ACT test and had not done as well as we had hoped. After going through the ACT program, we were thrilled to see that he had raised his score four points! In January of 2009, we signed our daughter up for the same program. We were again thrilled to see that she too had raise her score four points! We have been impressed with the test preparation materials and the quality of instruction our children received. They learned test taking skills as well as test content and the instructor was always positive and encouraging. We are very thankful for the experience we had at Sylvan!

In a short time, Sylvan is working!

Right from the beginning, Katy and Dean were fantastic! They listened to our concerns with empathy and understanding. They quickly showed us how the Sylvan program would be able to test for our daughter's strengths and weaknesses and put together an incredibly detailed plan on how to help our daughter. They also keyed into our daughter's shy personality and came along side of her to make her feel safe, secure and confident. Our daughter, even after only 12 hours of instruction said, "Mom, Sylvan is really working. Reading is getting easier and more fun!" That is a thrill for us as parents. Thank you Sylvan for your program!

Improved Confidence!

Sylvan was so good for my son. He improved drastically while going to Sylvan. His self-confidence improved and he enjoyed school a lot more. I would recommend Sylvan to friends/family and would have my son go again if he needed to. My son loved the instructors and was sad he wouldn't see them on a daily basis. It was a great experience for him.
