In the Community

The Sylvan Learning Center of Coon Rapids is dedicated to our community. We enjoy being active in the Coon Rapids area and have worked with local businesses, schools, and community groups. Engagement in our community is a key way for us to promote the importance of learning and education. We believe that we can accomplish a great deal if we work together with our Coon Rapids area friends and neighbors. Contact Coon Rapids Sylvan today to find out how we work with the community to help our students achieve their goals.

Sylvan Provides Gift Baskets for Local School Carnivals!

To promote strong communities, we believe that we need to get involved at the local level. That's why we provide gift baskets to our local schools. The schools can then use them for fundraising.

Dedicated to the Special Education Advisory Committee

We asked ourselves: How can we make our communities stronger? How can we show that we support children with various needs and abilities? One of the many ways we show our support is by participating in the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) monthly meeting held during the school year (October through May).

We offered special discounts for SEAC members as well as shared our various resources such as BookAdventure.com, Fit4Algebra.com, ACT Diagnostic Days as well as parent seminars such as Forgotten Math for Parents and others.

Parents are thrilled to have these resources available to help them assist their children excel and succeed.
